Thank you, thank you, a million times thank you!
We want to thank everyone for the support that we've been given for our 3rd Annual event! It was a full day and we have nothing but excellent things to say about our supporters, our sponsors, our players, and every one of you who were unable to attend but still watched the game via WebCast. Special thanks to VirtuPoint for broadcasting the game!

Wow... Gordie Howe. What a fantastic gentleman! We give great thanks to the entire Howe family, including Gordie, Travis, and Marty for the support we got from them. Every fan and committee member was lucky to meet Gordie. Our celebrities were proud to play for him, and it really raised the level of the game to a friendly competition! This is a day I'm sure we won't ever forget!

Congratulations to Aimee F. from Fort Worth, Texas and Jack A. from Pasadena, California! They were our two raffle winners and were able to meet Gordie Howe and have their picture taken!

Also thanks and congratulations to everyone who participated in our silent auction at the event and took home these wonderful items donated by our stars!

So, where do we go from here?

To Sleep!  :)

We're in the process of going through everything from the game and will be updating the web site soon with pictures, recaps, online auction goods, available merchandise to purchase, and other surprises. Please bear with us during the next few days as we get through it all. We know it will be worth the wait!

Those of you who attended, please let us know how it was for you! We love the feedback and we're sorry we couldn't meet each and every one of you in person to say thank you!

We'll update the LJ when we update the web site, so check back for more to come!

Hello!

Just a question. I won the Michael Vartan auction at the game and have the picture and stick. I understand the puck will be shipped to me... but was I supposed to receive a Letter of Authenticity with my winnings? Is it also being sent with the puck?

Thanks!

Hi! Just curious, were there opportunities to meet Vlad Kulich and take a photo, and/or have an existing photo autographed at this year's FTD game? I am a big fan but unfortunately, unable to attend the FTD game and possibly meet him in person. I know you can't speak to Vlad's participation next year at this point, but if there was an opportunity to meet Vlad this year, I will plan on attending next year if at all possible. Thanks in advance for responding to this inquiry.

Hello!

Hi.

Just curious...again. Could the person, Ildikó Perle, who posted a response apparently in Czech after my message re. Vladimir Kulich here, if possible, please translate/write in English? Thanks!

Also, hope to hear back on my original inquiry here re. Vlad from the Freeze The Disease blog admin. here. Many thanks!

Hi!

I'm a Hungarian. I live in Hungary. I write and speak in English a little, so I use dictionary. My sole favourite actor is Vladimir Kulich. We had a holiday in Prague in July, where I believe that I saw him. In front of the Vltava River, where used to fish in his early life. I think he's a wonderful actor! I'd like to see much photos of him, and I'd like to read some newsy interviews with him. I hope his web site freshen before long! I'd like to get to know more from his life and his work, either. I'm interested in his hockey game, too. I should love to meet with him. Perhaps in Prague. This is my dream! I wrote about these things in my foregoing letter.
I'm sorry about my faults of spelling!
Yours sincerely: Ildikó Perle

Hello Ildikó:

Thank you for your response back and your English is certainly much better than my Hungarian...or Czech. Which is to say, I speak neither. Well, I do know a few words of Czech and have been to the Czech Embassy in the U.S. to a party and absinthe tasting. Have not been to Prague though and would like to visit in the future as it seems like a beautiful city with what I have heard is a fairytale quality. As for Vladimir, you probably did see him in Prague. He was in Europe for a fan convention and also traveled to Prague, London, and Paris. There are some wonderful photos of him on the VladimirKulich.com website including by the Vlatava River and on the Charles Bridge. Also a photo of Vladimir in Prague that includes his wife Tiffany, though she is identified in the photo as a friend. So perhaps may have even been a bit of a honeymoon trip at the time. But that trip was during June and July of 2005 so not sure if you are speaking of July in the same year. Especially as he has said that he really dislikes or fears flying and tries to travel on airplanes as little as possible. You may have noticed on the homepage of his website he is in a new movie called Smokin' Aces which has a number of well-known actors. Unfortunately, Vlad's fans have learned that this movie will not be released until April 2007. I understand from people who have attended prescreenings of the movie that Vlad's part is small but pivotal, but that his character's role in the movie is best to remain ambiguous and unnamed. Interesting, yes? At least this film should get wide distribution when it's finally released.

Best,

Hi!
The first time I was in Prague in 2005's July, and the second time in 2006's July. I'd like to go at the beginning of December, too. The first time when I saw the City, I came to like it at once. Prague is a "jewel-case"! I say do you: Go there! It is wort! Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe!
I saw the photos on Vladimir's web site. It hits my fancy! Vladimir is "human" on those. I think he incomparable with other actors! My problem: He's web site is more the same since a year.
Unhappily I saw only three from his films: Pandora's clock, Firestorm and The 13th warrior. My favourite he's since. I think he would have been very good as Oscar Schindler!
I'd like to see his new film too, I hope it will be arrive to Hungary at 2007. Very like for me the film's advance! It's exciting!
Can you send me some informations from Vladimir's "hockey-life"?
Have a nice day!
Ildikó
